Reply: This is the reason why not only are we selling them, but donating them. Poor kid has enough troubles and now the child is in the spot light - let the poor kid be a girl scout! The government rewards negative behavior. Instead they should give the benefits to the people who have worked and paid into the system. It is all backwards. I have been off work with no income for 3 years due to a condition, after working 30 years as an RN. I have three sons in college having to find a way and make a way because their mom can't afford to help pay for it. I finally took the plunge and applied for SS disability this past September, however I am not holding my breath. I pray you get what you need. I think that term limits for these politicians and that they would have to have the same benefits as us is the only way they will change anything. Thanks for your post!
