I’m running out of stuff to write about the jar of money!
I mean it’s week 7, we have $28, 7 stickers, unless the thing starts generating cash on it’s own I’ve pretty much run out of anything to say about it.
It’s a jar with cash in it. $7 more dollars than last week, $8 fewer dollars than next week.
I did correct the Money Challenge sheet. I was told one or 2 of the cash amounts are off. I only found one that was wrong.
But I didn’t create the thing, it was someone else, I just stole it like everyone else. lol
Ok, printout to the right, image of my jar below.
Just started this on the weekend!
Maybe you should find out what we are going to do with the extra cash! That might be something to talk about.

I’m in this challenge, and like I told you in a private message…I am planning to do this challenge in reverse because right now is tax season and by the end of the year we are always financially struggling. So this week (week #1), I will add $52 to the jar. Thanks for the idea and the accountability!!

Just found your blog via Pinterest. Love this idea. Just started mine, only mine is a large white antique square tin with the info inside. Going to paint 52 on the front of it to remind me to put money in, but can’t see the money so it’s not tempting, lol. Thanks for sharing this great idea!

your making bank Lol
I printed out my challenge paper and taped it inside a cabinet door. Whenever I make a deposit, I use a highlighter to cross it off, that way if I ever have a little extra to drop in, I can check that off too! And, I did cut a hole in the top of my plastic jar lid, then hot glued it shut. The temptation was too strong.
I love this idea! My apartment is so small though that there is no where to hide the jar/container so I’m trasferring the money each week to my savings account. That way it’ll earn interest at the same time and I know what the balance of the jar would be each week so I’ll always make sure to leave that part in the account. I’m really excited to see this start to grow!
I found a can at the dollar store with a slot in the top, it’s Disney Princess, I’ll have to live with that, lol, but you can’t get into it unless you use a can opener. There will be no temptation if you can’t get in 🙂
[eDee: OMGosh! I LOVE IT!!!!]
Help me start this plz…..what to do.???
