Another Minions Coffee Cup Cozy
Crochet Pattern
I can’t believe all the stuff I have made from 1 skein of Yellow Red Heart yarn and 1 skein of Blue Red Heart yarn. Sure I’ve needed a few other colors here and there, but I have made 6 minion slippers, 1 eos Minion cozy, 2 Minion paper coffee cup cozies and now 2 Minion coffee cup cozies. Additionally I crocheted 6 sunflowers with the yellow yarn and I still have a huge ball left!
This is “Another Minion Coffee Cup Cozy” It is a lot like the first Minion Cup Cozy, but it attaches to the mug in a different way.

Hook: G6/4.00
Yarn: Red Heart – Blue, Yellow, Black, White, Gray
Accessories: Button
Other: Needle
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
w/ = with
slst = slip stitch
ss = same space
sp = space
** = repeat what is between the ** until the end
NOTES: turn only when indicated
Example: *2 sc ss* means: 2 single crochets in each space around
Base: (under the cup)
Start with base color Blue.
Row 1: ch 2, 6 sc in first ch, join w/ slst
Row 2: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *2 sc ss* join w/ slst
Row 3: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *1 sc next space, 2 sc ss* join w/ slst
Row 4: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *1 sc in each of next 2 spaces, 2sc ss* join w/ slst
Row 5: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *1 sc in each of next 3 spaces, 2sc ss* join w/ slst
Row 6: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *1 sc in each of next 4 spaces, 2sc ss* join w/ slst
Minion: (around the cup)
Row 7: ch 1, 1 sc ss, 1 sc in the back loop of each ch except the last 4 spaces (to leave room for the mug handle)
Change Color to Yellow
Rows 8-13: ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each space to end of row (Obviously don’t join there’s a hug gap there)
Change Color to Black
Rows 14-16: repeat Row 9
Change Color to Yellow
Rows 17-18: repeat Row 9
Row 19: repeat row 9 until you come to the end. Ch 12, sc around the opening where the mug handle will go to make it look nice and cover any color changes. At the top of the other side fasten off. Weave any ends.

Row 1: W/ black – ch 2, 6 sc in first ch, join w/ slst
Change Color to White
Row 2: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *2 sc ss* join w/ slst
Row 3: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *1 sc next sp, 2 sc ss* join w/ slst
Change Color to Gray
Row 4: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *1 sc next sp, 2 sc ss* join w/ slst
Row 5: ch 1, 1 sc ss, *1 sc next 2 sp, 2 sc ss* join w/ slst, fasten off, weave end
Mouth
Using Black yarn, ch 7, fasten off with long tail.
Use tail to sew on mouth
