Hi, I’m Linda!
Welcome to Stuck at Home Mom—your judgment-free zone for real talk about motherhood, family life, and everything in between.
My Story
I never imagined I’d be a stay-at-home mom. I had career plans, ambitions, and a perfectly organized life (or so I thought). Then kids happened, and suddenly I found myself at home in yoga pants covered in mysterious stains, wondering if I’d ever have an adult conversation again.
The transition wasn’t easy. I felt isolated, overwhelmed, and like I was losing myself in the chaos of diapers, tantrums, and endless laundry. I searched for honest content from other moms who were in the trenches with me—not perfect Instagram moments, but real, messy, beautiful truth.
That’s why I started this blog. To create the community I was looking for. A place where we can laugh about the absurdity, share our struggles without shame, celebrate the wins (no matter how small), and remind each other that we’re doing better than we think.

My Philosophy
I believe that:
- Being a stay-at-home mom is a valid choice that deserves respect
- It’s okay to love your kids and still struggle with the identity shift
- Perfect doesn’t exist, and that’s perfectly fine
- Sometimes survival mode is the best we can do, and that’s enough
- Community and connection make everything more bearable
- Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s essential
- Every mom’s journey is different, and comparison is the thief of joy
A Little Disclaimer
I’m not a parenting expert, pediatrician, nutritionist, or therapist. I’m just a regular mom sharing what works (and doesn’t work) for my family. What I share here is based on my personal experience, research, and trial-and-error. Always consult qualified professionals for medical, financial, or legal advice.
My Family
I’m married to my amazing (and patient) partner, and together we’re raising [number] wonderful, exhausting, hilarious kids who keep us on our toes 24/7. We live in [location/general area], where you can usually find us at the park, attempting cooking experiments, or hiding in the bathroom for two minutes of quiet.
Why “Stuck at Home Mom”?
The name is a bit tongue-in-cheek. Yes, there are days when I feel “stuck”—when the walls are closing in and I’d give anything for adult conversation. But there are also days when I realize how lucky I am to be here for all the little moments: first words, silly dances, spontaneous hugs, and the magic of watching tiny humans grow.
We’re not really “stuck”—we’re present, available, and right where we’re meant to be, even when it’s hard.
