I am sick of those upside down hand sanitizer holders – the tops pop open too easily and hand sanitizer stains everything. I found several patterns online and purchased a few others, but couldn’t find one that I really liked, so I created my own.

Hook: 4mm
Yarn: Sugar & Cream dishrag
1 Disney Hand Sanitizer 2oz Bottle
ch = chain
slst = slip stich
sp = space
sc = single crochet
x = times (x8 means 8 times)
Ch 11
R1: 2 sc in second ch from hook, 1 sc in next 8 sp, 2 sc in last ch, 1 sc in next 8 sp. (20)
R2 – 14: 1 sc in next 20 sp.
You can fasten off here or continue to make the cover.
Cover
Do NOT fasten off.
R15 – 30: ch 1, turn, 1 sc next 10 sp.
Fasten off.
Button loop
Slst in 5th ch, ch 10 (or as large as needed for your button)
Slst in the 5th ch, fasten off by tying the two ends together and weaving the ends.
Add keychain or clip to attach it to pants, bag, purse and so on.
