2. Session Duration
Google Analytics is helpful, but it doesn’t time how many seconds each and every user spends on your website. Instead, Google will calculate the average duration users spend from when they first visit the website to when they enter the last page. If Analytics says that there are zero seconds, that means that after visitors enter a page, they don’t take any additional actions.
3. Tagged Links
When a link is tagged, parameters are added to the url. These parameters let Google see where visitors are coming from without otherwise changing how the url functions. However, these tags aren’t automatically created, like some people think. Building a tag is simple, though, and free. A great use of tagging links is to figure out how many people are visiting your website from a newsletter.
4. Using AdWords Goals
In Google Analytics, you can create goals and then import those goals to AdWords for the purpose of tracking. It takes 24 hours for the conversions to show up.
5. Add More Information to AdWords
You can add Analytics account information to AdWords to create new columns that will show bounce rate, pages viewed per session, and time spent on the website. This helps you to further analyze keywords.
