Apple Pie Cookies Recipe
This is another recipe I found on FaceBook! I did a little researching and I think the original recipe came from: Oh Bite It
…… and because I have apparently become much to lazy to write my own posts, I’m going to post a teaser! Well, teaser ingredients, but you must visit Oh Bite It for the directions.
OMGOSH I mean look at these cookies! If you’re not salivating – You’re Dead!
Oh and by the way, the reason I’m posting the ingredients is because I couldn’t find them on the site! lol
I’m sure they’re there, but somehow lost within in images …… somewhere!
Ingredients
1 Box of frozen Pillsbury Pie Crust (2 sheets per box)
Approx. 1 Can of Apple Pie Filling (just enough for a thin layer)
Approx. 1 Cup of Caramel Sauce (just enough for a light coating)
1 Egg..for egg-wash
2 tbsp. Cinnamon/Sugar
1 tbsp. Nutmeg
Flour just for sprinkling
A round cookie cutter..any size you like
These are the ingredients that I found on FaceBook. I would suggest that you double check them on the sites, if you can find them. lol
And just because I have to fill up this post with 350 words to make Google Happy! Here are some lovely Apple Pie Poems I found around the web.
#1 LITTLE APPLES (Sing to the tune of “Ten Little Indians”)
One little, two little, three little apples,
Four little, five little, six little apples,
Seven little, eight little, nine little apples,
All fell to the ground.

#2 APPLES OFF MY TREE (Sing to the tune of “Skip to My Lou”)
Pick some apples off my tree,
Pick some apples off my tree,
Pick some apples off my tree,
Pick them all for you and me.

#3 ROUND THE APPLE TREE
Play a singing circle game to the tune of “Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush.”
Verse 1:
Here we go round the apple tree,
The apple tree, the apple tree.
Here we go round the apple tree,
So early in the morning.
Verse 2: This is the way we plant the seeds.
Verse 3: This is the way the little seed sprouts.
Verse 4: This is the way it grows to a tree.
Verse 5: This is the way the flowers blossom.
Verse 6: This is the way the apples grow.
Verse 7: This is the way the apples are picked.

#4 Apple Song
(Sung to the tune of “Have You Ever Seen a Lassie”)
Have you ever seen an apple, an apple, an apple
Have you ever seen an apple, that grows on a tree?
A red one, a yellow one, a red one, a yellow one
Have you ever seen an apple, that frowns on a tree?

#5 APPLES
Apples here (point to yourself)
Apples there (point away)
Apples are growing everywhere (hands form a circle…the world)
Some are high (point up)
Some are low (point down)
You will see apples wherever you go (point to eyes)
Apples on the left (extend left arm)
Apples on the right (extend right arm)
You will see (point to eyes again)
Both day and night (Hands together and head down on them)
