Dear Would Be Terrorist – You’re doing it wrong.


Dear Would Be Terrorist,
You may want to consider a class in Marketing 101, cause you’re doing it wrong.
Your ‘hard sell’ techniques are working against you.
Take a tip from our current Congress – they have done more damage to the United States in the last 5 years than you have done in two decades. Marketing, social media and networking are what destroys and influences an infrastructure.

Let me point out what you’re doing wrong:

Using the Marathon Bombing in Boston as an example let me explain to you what was accomplished?
* 4 people are dead, hundreds are wounded.
* Hundreds More Became Heroes.
* What did not kill us made us stronger.
* The Bombings United Our Country.
* the Bombers single-handedly defused all the momentum under North Korea.
* The New York Yankees played Sweet Caroline during a game! COME ON! Vegas wouldn’t have covered those odds.

Far more Good was accomplished. Those who were lost will be mourned and remembered forever. Movies will be made and songs will be song about our heroes. We are now less afraid and more determined and we don’t even know why? We know terrorists are bad and we are good – that’s it. You are not getting your message to the public.

Marketing is about building influence and empowering the consumer. Blowing things up is doing the same, but not to your benefit.
