How to Stack Cupcakes in a Container

It’s the day before Thanksgiving – Thanksgiving Eve if you will.
I made cupcakes to take along to Nana’s house for dessert, but how to transport them. My container will allow me to stack 2 layers of cupcakes, but how to separate the 2 layers?

First I started with Shot glasses, but apparently it’s been a LONG time since I’ve done shots, I could only find 2 glasses. That wasn’t going to work.

But when I opened the cabinet to search for the other classes, the answer was staring me in the face – Dixie Cups!

Who doesn’t have Dixie Cups.

It’s pretty simple
1. Put 3 Dixie Cups in the bottom of your container.
2. Place the cupcakes around the cups.
3. Cut a piece of cardboard the size of your container.
{I used a cereal box}
4. Wrap tinfoil around some cardboard.
5. Place the tinfoil wrapped cardboard on top of the Dixie cups.
6. Add your second layer of Cupcakes.

Close the container and you’re ready to travel!
